We invite golfers to come to “The home of golf – Scotland” in 2019. A luxury golf tour to combine some of the best courses in Scotland, plus, a wee diversion to play around or two in Wales, our Celtic cousin. This exclusive golf package has been designed for 6 people (we can do more or less) fully guided, transported in a luxury 8 seat coach, the driver and guide are totally golf individuals.

Arrive into Scotland (Glasgow International Airport) where we meet you and head to Ayrshire. You staying at the beautiful country house hotel awarded Five Stars Visit Scotland, Lochgreen House, is set in thirty acres of woodlands and beautifully manicured gardens in Troon.  A morning arrival, allows you to relax before an afternoon round of golf. .  Enjoy the golf before relaxing tonight at the hotel.

Day 2  After a fully cooked Scottish breakfast, we take you to meet King Robert the Bruce! Martin Ebert, created a world class golf experience with spectacular views of Turnberry’s stunning coastline, castle ruins, lighthouse and Ailsa Craig. Trump Turnberry. A round of golf is followed by a wee drive to Kirkoswald where you can discover and taste rare and special whiskies. Explore Scotch whisky and its’ fascinating heritage. We return to your hotel.

Day 3  The Dundonald Links – host of the 2017 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open. Today includes a trip to Culzean Castle overlooking the Firth of Clyde, near Maybole, Carrick, on the Ayrshire coast of Scotland. It is the former home of the Marquess of Ailsa, the chief of Clan Kennedy but is now owned by the National Trust for Scotland. We return to Lochgreen House for a final time.

Day 4 No driving today – och sorry for the sad pun, our own driver takes you four and a half hours away to Wales to experience our Celtic cousins. With a stop or two en route we arrive into Ruthin.  The imposing castle was first built in 1277. Your accommodation is Ruthin Castle Hotel & Spaaward-winning former royal residence in North Wales, with AA Rosette dining. Dating back over 700 years, and with previous owners including Edward I, Henry VII and Elizabeth I.  Free time to explore the town and relax, enjoy the Welsh hospitality.

Day 5  Breakfast is followed by an hours drive to Conwy Golf Club. The stunning course is located on the North Wales coastline and will provide a memorable experience, it is a championship links course. Time also to discover Conway, the town, castle, harbour, shops pubs and restaurants. Finish your stay with a choice of hand-pulled beers, then return to Ruthin.

Day 6 Regarded as one of the most picturesque courses in Wales with the magnificent backdrop of Historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele Golf Club remains a firm favourite. The 18 hole Parkland Course established in its present position in 1968 to the historic grounds of Gwyrch Castle with magnificent coastal views.  Driving back to Ruthin, we stop at Denbigh, another small Welsh town, tucked away the medieval The Guildhall Tavern Hotel. Excellent for a drink and food should you wish, again, chat to your tour director. Overnight Ruthin for a final night.

Day 7 Och the end is nigh. We return north to Scotland, a stop or two before  Glasgow. The final day/night, so aye we will make it a bit special. Checking into the George Hotel, in the city centre, we give you free time, before meeting in the hotel, top floor lounge, featuring complimentary drinks, to share stories and drinks.  Sadly, your tour ends tonight at the George, we can arrange taxis for tomorrow upon request.
